SLEEP QUALITY VS SLEEP QUANTITY
SLEEP QUALITY is different from SLEEP QUANTITY. Sleep quantity is simply the number of hours you were asleep, while sleep quality measures how well you sleep/ the satisfaction of your sleep experience (including SLEEP MAINTENANCE, SLEEP LATENCY & refreshment upon awakening.
SLEEP QUALITY outweighs sleep quantity. To achieve enough sleep quantity, but insufficient quality is known as nonrestorative sleep, which can have further implications.
